Who we are
Planet 221B is an independent game studio. You can reach us at planet221b.game@gmail.com.
What this policy covers
This policy covers this website only: the pages at planet221b.com. It reflects how the site works on the date shown above.
Our games
This policy does not describe how our games handle data. Privacy information for a game is provided with that game, for example on its page in the app store or on the platform where it is played. If you have a question about data in one of our games, write to us at the address above.
What the website does not do
- There are no user accounts, sign-up forms, contact forms or comment fields.
- The site's own code does not set cookies and does not use your browser's storage.
- We do not use analytics, advertising pixels or other tracking tools.
- The pages do not load scripts, fonts, images or embedded content from other companies. Everything you see is served from planet221b.com.
Technical data and hosting
The website is delivered by a web hosting provider. To deliver a page, the provider's servers necessarily receive the technical information your browser sends with each request, such as your IP address, the browser and device type, the page requested, and the date and time. The provider may record this information in server logs and process it under its own policies in order to run and protect its service.
We do not control that processing, and this page makes no statement about how long such records are kept.
If you contact us
The contact buttons open your own email application or our Facebook page. Nothing is sent through this website.
- Email. If you write to us, we receive your email address and whatever you include in your message, and we use them to read and answer it. Our mailbox is provided by Google (Gmail), which processes messages as part of delivering them.
- Facebook. Our Facebook page is run on Facebook, a service of Meta. When you open it or send us a message there, Meta's own terms and privacy policy apply.
The “Copy address” button places our email address on your clipboard when you press it. The site never reads your clipboard.
Links to other websites
The site links to our Facebook page and may link to the store or platform pages of our games. Those websites are operated by other companies, and their own privacy policies apply once you follow a link.
Changes to this policy
If the website changes in a way that affects your privacy, for example if analytics or a contact form is added, this page will be updated and the date at the top will change.
